Actors Timothee Chalamet, Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington offered "deconstructive reviews leading to a judgement upon feminist quality of script".

Usephi Delones "Timothee Chalamet lacks experience. Poor script. Visuals deplorable. Fails to respond to directing at key moments of the movie".

Ethan Zuvaldi "Tom Hanks distracted by a complicated script. You can't offer a piece of paper with no direction and tempo. Lacks the ability…surprising because this actor has so much to offer…Hollywood pushing the elite aside…Gary Oldman should be given a chance…rather than this feeble response from Hanks".

Susanna Belandry "Denzel Washington…what has gone wrong this year? Acting like a college kid performing for a cheap play. Vocals poor. Director pointing camera away from the actor. Roman J, Israel. Esq…honestly…do you believe the word ISRAEL will change the decision…I hold my head in my hands…lacking faith and courage to outshine the others…afraid of Daniel Day-Lewis and Gary Oldman".

Alicia Leomori "Daniel Day-Lewis performance in Phantom Thread deserves an Oscar. I will weep if this actor is told to leave with nothing. Better than Gary Oldman. Poor script equals Golden Globe rejection in 2018".

Sheila McBreidles "Gary Oldman deserves a Golden Globe this year. Acting fluently and attacking the script. Outstanding ability. Best performance ever. Everyone has to move aside and let the winner walk on stage…Gary Oldman winner".
